Minister of Music

Our music department has much to offer and is comprised of a talented quorum of talented singers, dancers and musicians. The Music Department’s purpose is to glorify God in a spirit of excellence. We desire to lead others into His divine presence with music through praise and worship. Music is an integral part of the Sanders Temple worship experience. There are several aspects to the music department.

The sanctuary choir is an important part of each service. Rendering praise to God singing traditional and contemporary gospel music including athems and hymns. The choir ministers at all worship services, participates in concerts and special events, and travels to in-town and out of town engagements.

Musicians/Directors Rehearsals are every Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Choir Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

Our youth choir sings at many youth functions and also at 11 a.m. service on 2nd Sundays. Rehearsals are held twice a month.

Director: Minister Marcel Strong

This dance team is made up of young people ages 3-21. At times, they perform separately by age range, but mostly together. There are 2 dance teams who at times perform together but mostly separately. They minister during 4th Sunday 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services.
